Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our automotive equipment installation and service team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of automotive equipment installation projects from start to finish. Your role will involve coordinating with clients, managing resources, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and working closely with the Sales team and Operations that overseeing a team of technicians. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of automotive equipment installation processes.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project resources, such as equipment, materials, and personnel, are available.

  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time completion.

  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, resolve issues, and provide guidance to the installation team.

Team Management:

  • Work with operations team, sales team and a team of technicians that are responsible for the equipment installation projects.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project updates, address challenges, and foster a collaborative work environment.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during project execution.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop project budgets with sales team and customer to monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

  • Coordinate with purchasing team to ensure timely availability of required materials and equipment.

  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.

  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

  • Review project invoices and ensure accurate billing to clients.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project promptly and professionally.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all installations meet or exceed industry standards and client requirements.

  • Maintain documentation and records related to project activities, including installation reports, change orders, and warranties.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the automotive or industrial equipment installation industry.

  • Strong knowledge of automotive equipment installation processes and best practices.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to effectively manage and motivate a team.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
